Another year over. What will 2006 bring? Opulence or stone broke? Leave it to chance, fate or bahala na? Have we given thought about others or are we busy thinking for ourselves. What are we here for? Is there a mission for us to fulfill or we are the fulfillment of a mission? Is being here the culmination of a journey or the biginning?
Have you ever felt in someway there is something missing in your being? There is a void inside that needs to be filled? One can look whole/full and yet feel empty. With all accomplishments and recognition from peers as well as friends there still exist a feeling of want. Something difficult to describe - an unfathomable crevasse.
Was man created to be filled or to fulfill? To be rich or to enrich? To live for oneself or for others? I have always thought about these things, along these lines. It's like walking in a trail never knowing where it leads to, what lies behind the bend. Will it be a pleasant surprise or a rude awakening?
Will your lifetime's accomplishment matter as you age? Do you matter at all to anyone or recognition doesn't really matter. In the end we may find we are but an insignificant matter in a world where nothing matters.
Cheer up classmates its 2006!! We are getting wiser for every year added to our "numbers". Life starts at 40 so they say, so we're really just starting to live.

We cannot take for granted mosquitos. They still can inflict unnecessary pain and suffering. Those little pests! We dont know the circumstances how the bite occurred but this goes to show how important keeping stagnant water in check.Breeding grounds for mosquitos must be eliminated. As per health dept. advise, stay indoors before it gets dark and before sunrise. Make sure the mosquito net has no holes. Let us hope and pray that Diona's daughter will come through. Thanks for letting us know.
[KNCHS_ONLINE] Re: Welcome new member Pesky pests....Hemorrahagic fever ..causes internal bleeding and DIC..That's so scary...hopefully the counts are still up to par.But its not even rainy season yet...Hope and pray that Diona's daughter get's thru with no complications...I hope there's both hematologist and infectious consultants on board,..I'm switching to plan B for summer plans.C
[KNCHS_ONLINE] KNCHS_ONLINE] Re: Welcome new member Do we have any info as to the status of Romeo's and Diona's kid? If this kid is critical, we don't have the medical technology/equipment in Marbel.Viabilitywise, Davao will be the transfer /back up plan.Dr. Magan, any update.?Let us know.Thanks.C
[KNCHS_ONLINE] Re: Welcome new member Day Cil, on your vacation make sure you bring a lot of mosquito repellant or have the house sprayed with Bygon in the evening.
Mosquitos are known to travel for miles so its everybody's business to keep breeding areas dry.Prevention, prevention, prevention!! It's cheaper than the cure too. Take care.
K and C,According to Tito, na ICU sa gensan hospital ang anak nila ni Romeo. We do hope na makarecover ang bata. Gintughungan naman sang dugo halin sa batch 75. Yes, We had a brief meeting in Tito's residence, the four of us: Ramon, Tito, Nenet and me, discussed initial steps to be done, we organized a working committee of 12 to threshed out details. Mon suggested that we should be holding a separate re-union this coming December 2007, 2 days ahead before staging the school re-union so that by staging a batch 75 re union, we could assess from our selves what are the necessary things/activities to improve, ano ang mga kulang nga dapat himoon, kag para ma spread out na we are holding a batch 75 re-union(we' ll be doing it yearly ) para sa 2010 Grand batch re-union naton damo na ang mag-attend. I think makadugang si Ramon sa mga discussion nga natabo kaina.Regards!. . . . . . .td
Mosquito borne diseases are something one should be aware of while living in the tropics. I thought I was immune or clever enough from mosquito bites after living in Marbel half of my life. It was this overconfidence that made my legs looked like peppered with mosquito bites in Iloilo while watching a band play at a restaurant.I tempted fate by wearing shorts that night too. Mosquitos adapt and they do find a way to get into that tasty blood of yours and mine. They've been here for millions of years with no sign of their species heading for extinction. It's unfortunate that we have to live with such pests. Let us hope that Diona's daughter make it through and no other victim suffer from this dreaded disease. Any word 'Mon/TD, how the city health is tackling this problem?
K & C, Yes, every municipality/ city has its own health program/project in fighting this dreaded disease and of course its carriers, but this doesn't mean that we would rely to this, Its everybody's lookout! labi na gid sa mga institutions; sa balay kag eskwelahan, My first born was also infected by degue when he was still a grader, maayo lang kay nadala ko dayon sa hospital! For Roming and Diona's daughter, nasa ICU siya, natughungan naman ini dugo, bal-an nyo sa batch 75 pa naghalin! I forgot the name, maybe Mon could help identify him and could update you of the present stutus of the child. Baw nga mga lamok! san-o pa kamo maubos man. . . . . K, C may posibilidad nga pati kasapatan madengue man? hehehe. . dumduman ko abi sang una bata pa ko, ginapangsunog ko lamok sa toril namon kag kada aga, ang tiil sang karabaw puno sang dugo sa kagat sang peste nga mga lamok! td
It's good to know our fellow batchmates are there to lend a hand when crisis like this strikes. To expand on the very same idea, that of blood donation, this is just a suggestion,I don't know if there's one in place, why not create a data bank of some sort on the blood type of each and every batchmates we have. This way if there is a need for blood, all you have to do is go to this data bank and find out who matches the recipient. In this manner you save time looking for donors... time that a patient lying in a hospital bed may not have. Infact you may spearhead a program in Marbel and get this initiative citiwide. We have to face the fact that most of the time it is we,the citizens, who must find solution to problems like this. As we all know we cannot always rely on the govt to help us. We have to help ourselves. This program actually exist in one town somewhere in Luzon. They have a databank on most people who donates (some sell) blood to recipients. Mon/TD, maybe Tito will take this challenge and get the city into this databank drive and if he succeeds, who knows, he probably can build into this success and propel his political carrer into the next level. For sure he can get mayor Miguel, if help is needed, support this noble undertaking. The idea is not farfetched. The question is who will take the challenge? I believe Tito can be a good leader if he only put his mind into it. He's actually in it, politicswise, so why not make the most of it. We already have a police chief so what we need next is a mayor from our batch. Tito for MAYOR!!!! Hilario can be the vice mayor!!!

I have no idea what kind this will be ,maybe you can come up with something on your next meeting. We wii give our support for Reuel if he indeed will run for the said post. Thanks to everyone who were present 'virtually' yesterday. It was a first for our group's continuous endeavor to reach out and get connected with each other. The session was fun and 'educational' There's still some kinks needed to iron out for a better result. For sure the next time will be much better.
Overall the teleconference was a success. Thank you Ramon and to your daughter for your time and invaluable assistance during the group's interaction.

2 years ago when my brother died i was not able to attend the funeral. what I did was to listen to the whole service via a mobile phone... I was live for over an hour and i was able to say something through my phone via the loudspeaker. that call cost me about £10 or $20 which is not bad.
So if Boy will have a speaker/micrphone...then I could call him on his mobile so that I could listen to the conversation (if his mobile got a speaker/handsfree then I will be able to say something that everyone could hear.
Then if Cel will call say Tito's phone, and Irskie to another phone....ha-ha -ha basi pa lang mag work... its gets too complicated pero think about it.

One thing I know, she doesn't have a friendster acct. so your best bet is to check this site from time to time.

Do you have a KNCHS reunion scheduled for Dec 2010 ? I am from class 1967 i.e graduated from KNCHS on that year. I came from another school (MIT Kabacan) and I attended KNCHS for only two years and I was in the last section lV-6 with John, Lando, Mac Z, and many others under Mrs Fe Gallego. Thanks. Alan from Vancouver
